MANAGEMENT

	Jesus "Chuy" Medrano, Owner Jesus "Chuy" Medrano is a founding Principal of CoCal Landscape and is responsible for all maintenance field operations. Chuy has 35 years of landscape management experience, much of which was gained while employed by the largest landscape maintenance contractor in the United States. He has successfully managed an annual labor force in excess of 250 landscape technicians; which has maintained over 200 commercial and multi-family properties throughout the Denver area. Chuy is licensed by the State of Colorado to apply and supervise the application of a wide range of commercial landscape chemicals, commonly used in the local landscape industry. He has also successfully completed numerous irrigation courses, representing virtually all of the major commercial irrigation manufacturers. In addition, Chuy is a Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) in the state of Colorado.
	Thomas J. Fochtman, Owner Thomas J. Fochtman, the other founding Principal of CoCal Landscape, is responsible for the marketing and sales activities of the company, as well as the general administrative functions of CoCal. Tom is a 1981 graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. His work experience includes land surveying, landscape construction management, landscape design and construction, marketing and sales, and general landscape operations management. Tom trained with the largest landscape contractor in the United States. He successfully opened and managed a landscape maintenance operation in Colorado Springs from 1985 -1988, prior to founding CoCal. Tom is a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) in the State of Colorado. In October 2007, Tom was featured by Lawn and Landscape Magazine and awarded The Leadership Award for his contributions to the industry.
	Jody Rea Bost, CLP,  Vice President Jody Rea Bost brings 27 years of diversified green industry experience to our company. Jody has worked in interior plantscaping, landscape construction, and landscape maintenance in Michigan, Colorado, and Florida.   She is a past chairperson for the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado and studied Business Management at Southwestern Missouri State.  Jody works closely with the two principals of CoCal, assisting in the daily management of all aspects of the company.  Jody is also a Certified Landscape Professional, (CLP).
